The Silver Lining

I went on a tour of the Greater Annapolis Area’s Michael’s and A.C. Moore stores in search of my dyelots.  In summary, there is one dyelot that I had 3 balls of and two dyelots that I had 2 each of, but they match each other.  I started just trying to procure any of those 3 dyelots, in an attempt to make some headway, whilte returning the balls of the other two dyelots that I hadn’t already started using.  I now have 9 balls of the first dyelot, which is enough (I think!) to make the body of the sweater, and maybe, if I get lucky, the sleeves.  But I’m good with doing the sleeves in the other dyelots.  *IF* I don’t need the other dyelots for the main sweater, I might use what I have, or exchange them for a different color, and try my hand at designing a basic tank to wear under the sweater (it has a wide drapey neck, so I’ll wear something under it, regardless!)

I have a tank that I got for Christmas that I really love.  I wear it constantly (okay, I went back and got two more — it’s not like it isn’t getting washed!), and I love the shaping and the line of the garment, itself.  I’m planning to try to mimic the same look with the bamboo yarn, so we’ll see how that goes!
